Saturday mornings 10.30 – 12.30
Sunday afternoons & Bank Holiday Mondays 2.30 – 4.30
until the end of September
Each year we put on a special exhibition in addition to the permanent displays so there is always something new to interest visitors. This year’s exhibition commemorates 100 years since a walk in 1924 to beat the parish boundary ended in tragedy.

The museum is situated by the Corner House, Market Street, in the centre of town. Charlbury is a pleasant town to explore, with an attractive centre and many lovely walks in the locality. We are a small museum run entirely by volunteers. You can be sure of a warm welcome from our volunteer stewards when you visit.
Transport
There are regular bus services to Charlbury every day except Sundays.
We are on the train line from London Paddington and within easy walking distance of the railway station.
